Comment: I think yoga clothing really is a preference. It is not need to be able to perform yoga. All though it can make it easier due to the amount of stretching that is involved. With the fashion these days yoga t-shirts and trousers look pretty good

Comment: The foremost consideration always has to be the season.In our enthusiasm to practice Yago we forget to be cautious about the weather. During the warmer season I personally prefer to practice wearing only a pair of loose fitting shorts and nothing else. The prespiration helps our body in more ways than one, and if we are clad in clothes, the benefits we might reap with the sweat may get lost with the cloth soaking the sweat(the benefits of sweating usually acquired through Pranayama). During the cooler weather it would make sense to wear clothes, the cloth mainly depending on your personal comfort, as long as it doesnt interfere with movement or breathing. The cotton, though a better substitue, does have a tendency to cling to a sweaty body.
